Invisalign is an orthodontic system that uses clear aligners that can be removed when eating and brushing your teeth. The system is virtually invisible to the naked eye. The trays are comfortable and form-fitted to your smile to improve the look of your smile and eliminate crowding and misalignment. We even offer Invisalign Teen as a way to correct pediatric and teenage-related orthodontic problems.

Invisalign is typically needed if you have teeth that aren’t perfectly straight. Orthodontic treatment can be beneficial when it comes to correcting crowding, crookedness and uneven spacing. Even if you think that your smile problems are too complicated, changes are that Invisalign can help. Rather than deal with metal brackets and braces, Invisalign treatment is both quicker and more comfortable.
Who is a candidate for Invisalign treatment?
Almost all patients who want Invisalign treatment can have it done. Treatment is best suited to teens and adults wanting a dramatic change to their smile. Our doctors can examine your teeth to determine if Invisalign treatment is right for you. Treatment can take anywhere from about six months to two years depending on the patient.
What happens during the Invisalign process?
The Invisalign process will begin with impressions, x-rays and an exam. Our treatment plan is specific to your needs. We will create a new set of aligners that you will wear for roughly 22 hours each day. They should be taken out whenever you eat, brush or floss. Otherwise, the Invisalign trays should stay in during the day and night. You can expect dramatic results over the course of just a few months. You will need to come back in routinely to have a new set of Invisalign trays made just for you throughout the course of treatment.
